SURGICAL DERMATOLOGY
All of the physicians of Dermatology Specialists are skin surgeons. Our practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services for the management of skin cancer or other skin conditions requiring surgery. Dermatologic surgery encompasses a wide variety of methods to remove or modify skin tissue for health (skin cancer) or cosmetic benefit (removal of birthmarks or moles). These methods include biopsy, excision, ED&C (electrodessication & curettage) and cryotherapy. In most cases, skin problems requiring surgery can be addressed in our office, in an outpatient setting, under local anesthesia, with minimal pain and low risk of complications.
At Dermatology Specialists we go out of our way to make you feel comfortable. We also want you to be as informed as possible as to how you can make your surgery have the best outcome.
